A nice home cooked meal for the seniors!

First off, thanks Ray and Sam, been a fun 4 years, I hope we can go out with a couple wins in the NIT or heck, a run in Memphis to make the NCAAs. Realistically though, beating UAB and Memphis back to back is going to be really tough.

As far as this game... why are we so bad out of the gate in almost every home game? I can't figure it out. We basically played one GREAT stretch in the first half where we outscored them by 15-20. That is all we really needed. I guess the word was out that we might have gotten hosed at UCF because the first 30 minutes of this game was the most delicious home cooking ever served up in the Don. Amazing really, I think we shot 20 FTs before they shot a single one. We got about 90% of the 50/50 calls and anytime anyone from UCF so much as breathed on Jordan it was a foul. Their bench was absolutely right in getting that T. Hey, I'll take it.

So, we basically finish the season as number 2 in CUSA, nobody predicted better than that. I think the thing that has been a bit of a bummer is that CUSA is not as good as we hoped. I mean, how is CUSA still a one bid league at this point? We need the entire league to mandate a harder schedule. Our schedule is improved but it is not a great schedule. We need to drop the LMUs and UNC-Cs, etc. from the schedule completely. Without playing those 2 games our RPI would be similar to UABs.

Interesting game Saturday, it is meaningless in one regard but losing it would probably lose you an NIT home game, so it is huge in that regard. I hope we respond with crushing win. I juat want to pound somebody for once!
